Product Description: The U3 platform transforms USB flash drives from simple storage devices into USB smart drives. U3 powered smart drives allow users to carry their “personal workspace” with them wherever they go. Market Opportunity: Gartner has predicted that USB flash drive shipments will reach 83 million units in 2005 and nearly 150 million units by 2008. Gartner estimates that in 2008, USB smart drives will represent 70% of all USB drives shipped.
